Sachin gets 4 Lakh likes within hours of joining facebook

Sachin Tendulkar's official Facebook page went live today at 9:00AM in the morning. Within hours of its launch its flooding with likes and it is still growing. It has crossed 4,50,000 likes and still going. Recently  Bollywood Shahenshah Amithab Bachan too joined Facebook previous month that is on August 21 2012, and got nearly12 Lakh likes within half an hour of his joining.  Tendulkar also has a twitter account with 26,80,791 followers, where he doesn't share much of his personal life. Though the Master Blaster has an existing page on Facebook but it is being managed by an agency appointed by him. The sports icon authenticated his joining through a video message posted on his page. The webpage in his name has merged the already existing one with it.

He welcomed his fan with a video message that says, "I'll like to welcome you to my Facebook family. As a child I always dreamt of playing cricket for India and I chased my dream of winning the World Cup for 22 years. It wouldn't have been possible without your support. I wanna take this opportunity to thank all of you for having prayed for me and wish well for me. I look forward to sharing my experience with you, join me on my Facebook so that we both can share this experience and go through this journey together. "This post had got 2,400 Shares, 885 Comments and 5,844 likes.

Amithab Bachan now has 22 Lakh followers another Bollywood celebrity Amir Khan too has nearly 52 Lakhs of followers. We should see how many fans will Sachin Tendulkar's page accumulate.
