Now let me introduce to some of the woman who were behind some of the famous websites. There are still many women apart from the ones mentioned in this post but I just made a list of only few.

1.Flickr: 35th most visited website wouldn’t have been with yahoo if Caterina Fake and Stewart Butterfield wouldn’t have made it. It is a photo sharing website commonly tagged under image and video hosting site launched in February 2004 after a year of its launch and popularity it was being bought by yahoo for $35 million.

2.Blogger: This website is most famous website which host many blogs through it. It was initially a website designed by Pyra Labs later acquired by google. So to remind the key persons behind Pyra Labs are Evan Willams and Meg Hourihan. Meg Hourihan is one of the co founder for Pyra Labs. She is now taking break with her family and her blog.

3.Meebo: Many websites and blogs have a multiple IM widget from meebo. This meebo widget is used for staying online through multiple email ID’s. This widget came live from Agust 2006. Sandy Jen, Seth Sternberg and Elaine Wherry were the founders of meebo. Sandy Jen and Elaine Wherry almost appeared in almost all women entrepreneurs list.
